Like most sports fans, we’ve spent the past week completely engrossed in watching the Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea. There are many news sites reporting on the medals, the feel-good stories and the athletes representing their countries. We’re here to report on the female athletes and to showcase their amazing successes.
We are proud of the American medalists so far, many of whom we featured in our pre-Games post. Congratulations to our Women to Watch winners thus far:
- Jamie Anderson, Snowboarding-Slopestyle – GOLD
- Chloe Kim, Snowboarding-Halfpipe – GOLD
- Mirai Nagasu, Figure Skating – BRONZE (team)
- Maia Shibutani, Ice Dance – BRONZE (team)
Here at YLJ, Inc, we’ve also decided to keep a medal count, but for the women only. Take a look below to see how the women of each country are faring in total medals as well as gold medals after one week of competition.
